Tom Newman
Bio:
A watercolour artist based in London, I create original artwork from the movement and energy of skateboarders, graffiti artists and parkour.
I travel around UK and Europe photographing skate meets, graffiti events and festivals. In the studio, I use these images to paint detailed yet dynamic representations of the athletes and artists at work.
Inspired by the energy and movement of street sport and street culture, I enjoy the challenge of depicting these images in a form that can be appreciated by all.
