Bio:

Roberta Roman is a contemporary textile artist based in London, England. A former furniture designer and mural painter, she has recently embarked on a new stage of her creative career, with her latest collection of Textile Art

"My work is largely inspired by artists, musicians, and actors that I admire. I like to call them paintings with fabrics and threads."

Roberta's pieces are mixed media artworks created using a variety of different materials such as textiles, paint, pen, gold-leaf and vintage and recycled fabrics.

Aside from her collections, Roberta has also created bespoke custom-made pieces of art. Working with designers, corporate and commercial architects, private clients and celebrities to create one of a kind commissions.
