Ladan Ghiami
Bio:
‘Ladan Ghiami is a British Iranian visual artist working from her home studio in North East London.
Ladan works in abstraction through painting, collage and print making, sometimes combining all three. Her work explores the emotional landscape of life and the inner journey of what it means to be human. She has a particular interest on the themes of transformation, spirituality and the magic of connection with others and ourselves. She is a lover of colour and texture and draws her inspiration from Mother Earth, animals, imagery in dreams and the lunar cycle.
She is self taught and would describe her creative process as intuitive, experimental and mood based.
She shares her studio with Luna her Abyssinian cat’.
