Sophie Mills-Thomas
Bio:
Sophie is an emerging contemporary artist, based in Bristol. Currently bringing charcoal work into her practice, alongside her vivid paintings, primarily in oil paint. Animals and the natural world are her focus. Please get in touch to discuss commission work. Rates start at £150.
Movement, expression, colour and charcoal. 'My aim to to capture the sense of the animal, how it feels to me and recreate it visually'. I want to push this further and further. I paint how the animal seems, thick bold oil paint for a rhino, fluid strokes for a heron. I represent what the animal is in paint and charcoal.
