Molly is a British artist living and working in Bristol, Somerset. Born in London, Molly originally spent 15 years working as a Television Producer making factual shows for major channels. After years of creativity behind the camera, Molly took time out of her successful career to have children but soon realised she needed a new creative outlet and found art. Working with mixed media including acrylics, oils, pastels and gold leaf, abstraction and impulse form the basis of her eye-catching, intuitive work. Playing with the formation of bright colour palettes and juxtaposing textures Molly’s visually energetic work explores the themes of light and dark, form and chaos, rough and luxe. Her main goal though is always simply to create art that brings joy and pleasure to the viewer, with each vividly unique piece evoking highly individual emotional reactions. From the beginning of her journey as an Artist Molly’s style has developed and continues to grow, as she explores abstraction and expressionism, pushing the boundaries of her creativity and vibrant colour palette.
