INKTERAKTIV

Bio:

Hello I’m Caro, or INKTERAKTIV ;)

I'm a London based Paper Artist.

I work mostly with neon paper using paper quilling techniques.
In the last few years I have had several group shows and solo shows in London.
I try to always be environmentally friendly in my choices of materials and waste as little as possible whilst creating my art.
I campaign mostly for global dog welfare, climate change & sustainability, homelessness, ageism and women's rights.

After studying Art History, Languages and Fine Art, specialising in paper, book binding and packaging, I went on to study Graphic Design, Animation and Photography. My physical tools were replaced by screens and soon the original plan I had of becoming an artist seemed further away from my reality.

After 25+ years working as a Creative Director and digital designer on digital experiences and installations for advertising agencies, design studios and private clients ranging from the likes of Vodafone, Heineken, Virgin, Mercure Hotels, NHS and Lilly to name a few, I went through a life changing ordeal and finally caved in and told myself, time for me to do what I have always wanted to do! So I went back to what I loved and rejoined my paper art journey.

With a passion for travelling, typography, neon road signs, architecture, aerial photography and patterns, I am slowly developing my own voice around these topics.

I now work mostly from my London based studio, either solo or collaborating with other like minded artists around the world.

I also teach art, branding and online marketing for BA and MA programs at several universities across London.
