Elise Mendelle
Bio:
With a loose and rhythmical style, my art captures a moment in time without filling in all of the details. With a bare minimum of marks, I offer a hint of a scene, and ask the viewer 'what happens next?' Designed to offer a place to escape and dream, choose a piece and add beauty to your home, and your life.
My emerging art career started at Artrooms in Rome where I was selected from over 900 applicants to take part in a dynamic exhibition in an inspiring city. Interest in my work has grown with shows in Venice, New York, Madrid and London. Just before the pandemic, I took part in the Talented Art Fair in March, 2020 at the vibrant Old Truman Brewery, a hub for art lovers and collectors, and recently saw my work displayed at the opening of a gorgeous brand new art gallery in Madrid.
