Jaq McCaughern
Bio:
Jaq began her studies 1993 studying Historic Decorative Arts, Contemporary Craft, and finishing with MA in Glass and fine Art, 2004.
Jaq has been a practicing artist since 1995, showing and selling her work at an artist at a Lincoln art and craft co-operative, and undertaking many commissions.
Jaq is inspired by Earths formation, its geology, the patterns and textures in any land or seascape. Jaq's inspiration is sourced primarily, from images of the Earth from space.
Jag uses a combination of techniques and materials developed over time, to portray a complexity of textures and patterns that illustrate our vision both physical and metaphysical.
Jaq's work is currently available at her website, and by private commission. Jag has recently had solo exhibitions at Sam Scorer Gallery and Lincoln Cathedral Chapter House.
