Zoe Beaumont
Bio:
Having been creative since early childhood I studied BA Textile Design and went on to develop a successful career in visual merchandising, fashion/ interior styling and window design for a number of leading retail brands. Despite a creative career I always missed the physical feeling of putting paint to canvas, and I now am so grateful to use my passion to create art for clients & galleries.
Using a wide range of mediums to create differing techniques, I work with a combination of acrylic paint on canvas and boards with layers of chalk, pastel and metallic leaves to add interest depth and rich texture.
Everything can be inspiring! I draw inspiration from all walks of life, from the beauty of mother nature to the most urban and decayed landscapes, street style and couture fashion , interior trends and all sources of culture. My career in fashion and interior styling informs my artwork, with colour, balance and composition playing key roles in each art piece.
