Lee Barclay

Bio:

My name is Lee Barclay, and I am a contemporary British artist. Although my artistic expression has evolved over time, my love for creation has always remained present. My projects can vary from landscape paintings to a portrait artwork and more, yet the message behind each piece is universal - story. I primarily use acrylics, oils, and other mediums to create art that is renowned for a variety of bright colours and creative detail.

As far back as I can remember I was always an artist. Peeling back the layers of life through pencil, paint and more, and observing life through still images, moving art and experiences. I have a burning desire to create, and I am fixated on capturing a moment in time.

I focus on a variation of realism and impressionistic abstract artwork within the subjects of nature, urban, people, and animals. Experimentation is also key to my artistic goals through new techniques and styles. As an artist it is about the function and design of how a wonderful piece of original artwork and artistic product could fit into a living space and become a part of someone’s home.

I am very inspired by the world around me. I like to feel the story of the places and life within, understanding the history and materialising the memories. My desire is to bring these experiences to life using my art and I aim to achieve this through my artist brand, Barclay Creations.

To make this journey succeed I believe in a combination of hard work, discipline and commitment. These together combined with a high skill set and taste of inspiration which will ensure my work is true to my vision and created to a high-quality standard.

Barclay Creations is also all about being connected to the community bringing a unique range of artistic products for people to visit and experience first-hand.

As the brand evolves, I want to give this business a firm hold in how it approaches art and business through a handful of key values, this includes:

Function of art product.
Great customer service.
Flexible creativity.
Original content.
Direct communication through digital and face to face contact.

Through my artistic journey I work to bring artworks and products that stand out within the market and give a sense of meaning and uniqueness that can fit each individual’s taste.
